We are pleased to announce that the 2020 CLTAC (The Chinese Language Teachers Association of California) Fall Workshop will be held virtually on Zoom on Saturday, October 3, 2020, in association with the FLANC 2020 Virtual Conference (Foreign Language Association of Northern California). The keynote speaker of the FLANC conference will be: Dr. Betty Lou Leaver and Dr. Christine Campbell (Open Architecture Curricular Design). Prof. Zhiqiang Li of University of San Francisco will give a plenary talk on “A Model of Speech Learning in Mandarin” (from 1:00-1:50pm), Ms. Mingjung Chen, Instructor of Menlo School, Prof. Weibing Ye of University of Notre Dame and Ms. Bonnie Wang, Instructor of Durham Academy, will jointly present a roundtable discussion on online teaching practice and techniques at the workshop (2:00-3:00pm). CLTAC members and non-members are all welcome. For this joint event, the registration fee is $6.77 for CLTAC members, and it covers both FLANC & CLTAC events.
