We are pleased to announce that the 2021 CLTAC (The Chinese Language Teachers Association of California) Fall Pedagogy Workshop will be held virtually on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 9:30am to 12:00pm. The workshop features three speakers. Prof. Charles Egan of San Francisco State University will deliver a plenary speech on “Voices of Angel Island: Inscription and Immigrant Poetry, 1910-1945”. Ms. Le Singleton of Stanford University will present on “逆向设计”与中高级汉语教学. Mr. Yuan Xu of West Side Elementary School, North Carolina, will give a talk on 《中文教学中的常用教学活动》.
At the workshop, Prof. Zhiqiang Li will present the Lifetime Accomplishment Award to Professor Emeritus Patrick Lin of Defense Language Institute on behalf of CLTAC to honor his decades-long dedicated leadership and service to CLTAC and Chinese language education in general.

This workshop is free for CLTAC members. Non-members are also welcome, but an online registration with a fee of $20 is required.
